Job Summary:

A Manager/Sr. Manager’s role is focused on New Accounts Acquisition in the Automotive Mechanics placement sector in the Benelux.

This position is crucial for expanding the client base and ensuring the growth of the company in a highly specialized industry. Below is a general overview of the job description for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • New Account Acquisition: Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the car mechanics placement sector. This involves researching potential clients in the automotive industry, understanding their staffing needs, and customizing proposals to meet those needs.
  • Strategic Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends in the automotive and staffing sectors, identifying potential growth areas, and developing targeted strategies for client acquisition.
  • Sales and Networking: Actively selling placement services to potential clients in the automotive sector, including dealerships, repair shops, and other relevant businesses. Building a network through industry events, conferences, and direct outreach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establishing and nurturing relationships with new clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing their needs effectively. This includes following up on leads and maintaining ongoing communication.
  • Collaboration with Recruitment Teams: Working closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure client requirements are accurately understood and met. This may involve briefing teams on specific client needs and preferences regarding car mechanic skills and experience.
  • Contract Negotiation: Leading negotiations with new clients, ensuring agreements are beneficial, compliant with legal standards, and aligned with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Providing regular reports to senior management on business development activities, market insights, and performance against targets.
  • Brand Advocacy: Representing the company at industry-specific events to enhance brand visibility and develop further business opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the Benelux automotive market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to travel within the Benelux region.

 

Additional Considerations:

  • Familiarity with digital tools and CRM systems for managing client relationships and sales processes.
  • An understanding of employment regulations and compliance issues in the Netherlands.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
